There are different reasons why a bereaved family wish to hold their loved one’s funeral at St Peter’s. Following a discussion with the family, the funeral director will contact the church to arrange a time to suit all parties when the service will take place. Once confirmed the vicar will contact the next of kin to arrange a visit to discuss the details of the service. After the church service, the vicar will accompany the family to either the cemetery or crematorium to conduct the act of committal.
